"All 21st century kids are programmers to some degree. Every time they download a song or ring tone, conduct a Google search, or use any software, they are, in fact, programming."

I'm going to have to disagree with Mr. Prensky on this topic. This is the description of a typical user. Using flash to create something would be a 'high-end' user, but they definitely are not 'Programmers' proper. Anyone who has actually done any REAL programming knows that. Just because someone knows how to 'type' does not make them a programmer. A person who 'types' into a field is not a programmer. But someone who can CREATE that field using a 'LANGUAGE' is a programmer.
