When I started learning about the multiple uses that Palm devices have, it was very interesting and fascinating. There is an unlimited number of tasks and activities where a Palm device can be used. Starting from a personal organizer to databases, camera, video recorder and many more. It is just so interesting that a small device such as a Palm Pilot can do so many things.
I think that palm devices are not being used as much as they should be. Very few schools are involved in handheld technology programs. I think some people still don't realize the importance and utility of palm devices in this new world of constant technology changes.
I will encorauge my students the use of handhelds by teaching and introducing to them practical and interesting programs and applications that can be used with handhelds.
I certainly will encorauge, explain and introduce the use of handheld technology to a teacher that is considering the use of Palms in his or her classroom.
